Nothing is wrong with you, everyone gets stuck in their head for a while, at least I have. I'm sure you know some stress relievers already. But when those don't work, the hardest thing to do is always the best thing. Just drag yourself up and do something "normal" with friends or family or whatever (no matter how trivial and annoying it is). It will get your mind off of things until something great comes that you can use in your art. Honestly "pretending" that you're happy is a strong force. It may seem fake or wrong but give it a try. At what age do rabbits start "slowing down"?

Hello. I've owned a lot of rabbits, and all of mine were still very active at 2 years old. I have a rabbit right now who is 7 years old, and she runs around and plays like she did when she was young. Most of my other rabbits slowed down a little at about 4 or 5 years old. Is your rabbit on a good diet ( hay, pellets, leafy greens ) ??? They need proper nutrition to stay active. They also can become lazy from being overweight, or not being able to run around and get exercise. In my opinion as a rabbit owner, i think a 2 year old rabbit should still be pretty active. Another idea is trying to give your rabbit things to play with. My rabbit loves cardboard tubes to run through and chew on. I also took a bunch of cardboard boxes, taped then together, and cut little holes in them big enough for her to run through ( so it's kinda like a big maze ). There are all kinds of things you can make cheap, for a rabbit to play with. Maybe your rabbit is just bored. Try giving it a few new things to play with, and see if that helps. Im sorry I cant give a detailed critque but I have to say I didnt enjoy it because it didnt flow - in my mind at least. I know its only a rough draft but it didnt work for me. I guess poetry is more of a personal thing so my thoughts are of little consequence to you. Calories consumed/calories burned?

I absolutely love eating and i absolutely love exercising, two awesome things! But I was checking out information from a daily calorie needs calculator from a couple of websites and it said that given the amount of exercise i do each week (1 hour of cardio per day, burning around 800 calories at a time, usually 6 to 7 days a week) in conjunction with my gender, age, height, and weight (male) that i should be consuming around 3,450 calories to maintain my weight, and around 2,950 calories to lose about one pound per week. Given that i would love to lose a little bit of weight, just like the next person out there, i have continued to do my daily exercise just as i have been doing, but decrease my calories to a daily intake of 2,300 calories (from food). This means that i am taking in roughly 1,500 to 1,600 calories a day once the calories burned from exercise has been deducted from the total calorie intake from eating. Is this a healthy amount of calories to eat each day, given my daily activity ? Because for me, a pretty normal eater, eating 2,300 calories is A LOT of food to eat in general! Thanks so much :)

Everytime my friend and I are chatting on yahoo messenger, it starts off nicely by her giving me quick replies AT FIRST. Ovarian problems 3 yrs after hysterectomy?

I have been in the doctor's office more times than I want to count in the past 3 years following my hysterectomy due to discovery of precancerous cells that moved from cervix into my uterus. I am only 26 yrs old. My concerns are sharp stabbing pain in my right ovary during (has ruined my life with my hubby - who is not very happy with the situation). I have a constant dull achy pain in my side and back all the time. If I ride in a car longer than an hr I get to hurting extremely bad. My doctor has done ultra sounds which show a cyst every time, but he says it is likely a functional cyst and no need for concern. I am very fatigued and I am concerned it may be related to my pain. I am at whit's end with the situation. Where should I go from here? Any ideas if the situation is worth a 2nd opinion by a cancer doctor or stick with my OBGYN? There have been no blood tests. I went in twice over what we all thought were braxton hicks contractions, but they were real. They wuld be perfectly apart, but the second I made it to the hospital each time, they stopped instantly. Now **that** is embarring. I know just how you feel. They ensured me that it happens all the time, and they'd rathr me come in than not. The contractions dialated me 3 cm in 1 week. And then at my 39 wk check, the doc scheduled an induction because I was already that far. I shouldn't have agreed, but I didn't know anythin about L&D. I should've read about it. So I wouldn't reccommend induction at all ever ever. Why force the baby to come out? I hate myself over it now. I know that wasn't part of your question, but I just thought I'd share. I've always used the "hacker clubs". I shoot mid 90's to low 100's. Typical righty fade/slice on most shots, though I do hit some really good shots mixed in. I've been going to golf shops, etc looking around and asking questions. Seems the consensus is that I need game improvement irons? Also, that I should definitely get fitted for clubs. I've been recommended: Taylor Made RAC OS2's, Taylor Made r7 Draw, Adams a3 OS, Cobra S9, Callaway Big Bertha 06 and 08, Nike Slingshot OSS. There are so many choices and things to consider. I really want to work toward shooting in the 80's and I really want to make my new club purchase worthwhile and get the right clubs for me. Army Deserter Question!!?

Hi my best friend is a US Army deserter. She has come to me asking me for help, she was in her Combat training for only a month and couldn't handle it and has been gone since Christmas leave of 2006. She has talked to several MP's about going to Fort Knox, but the best I can do is take her to the local air force base where we live. I have agreed to help her turn herself in but she is really confused, she has friends who were in the army and mp's telling her to go to the air force base turn herself in and she will get sent to Fort Knox, and now she has some deadbeat attorney telling her not to do it cause if she does she will go straight to jail and will get sent straight back to her training unit. I know some great musicians have played on strats, and I could never hold a candle to them. Perhaps the wall texture of the apartment,cityscapes, a still life on a table,what you have on a book shelf(if you have one,...one photographer I knew did a series on beds,photograph your silverware, gles......food....take a look in the kitchen and you could set up a simple composition as though it was for a magazine. When will my 3 month old Chihuahua's ears perk up?

I have a long coat chihuahua that is now 13 wks old. In the past I've had smooth coat chi's and their ears were up by 3 or 4 months. I realize that teething has an effect on their ears but does that also include long coat chi's? She is teething quite a bit and chews everything in sight! Help from tree experts?

I have a 60-70 foot ash tree in my front yard. Due to the droughts and water restrictions in the last few years one of the roots has risen above ground. It's nearly 8" in diameter near the trunk, and reaches about 10', rising 3 1/2" above the soil. I've heard you can cut roots like this but I'm afraid the tree might topple during the next big wind. And I can't raise the level of my yard. I tried covering the root with soil, hoping the gr would grow over it but it didn't work. Any suggestions?

How to ignore other people arguing or bickering at each other?

I live with two males. I am 23 years old and the two guys I live with are 25 and 22 years old. Stitches after knee (ACL reconstructive) surgery?

I had ACL reconstrutive surgery last Monday (August 16) so it has now been 9 days. I don't have another follow up appointment with my surgeon for two weeks and I was wondering when it would be alright to remove the adhesive tape over my incisions. I "snuck" a peak under by peeling the tape back and it looks like the surgeon used dissolvable stitches. I'm anxious to be able to shower instead of bathing with my leg hanging out of the bathtub, but I don't want to risk an infection or bleeding by removing the tape too soon. Thanks for any advice!

You cant stop it, the only thing i can suggest is your baby might be back to back, i had this with my daughter and it was horrendous, constant Braxton hicks so i know how you feel!! If this is the case theres three things you can try to get him/her to turn, one is to walk sideways up and down the stairs (i know it sounds wierd but it gives baby room to turn), or get on all fours on you bed and put you bum in the air and gently rock from side to side, this really seemed to work for me. She did turn eventually. and third, take a nice warm bath and relax, if you chill out, so will baby and that will make it more likely to turn. hope this helps and you get some rest soon!

Im looking to get my first real car after I start my job out of college. I've had a Ford Escort for the past 5 years and I want to "treat" myself with a new, awesome car. I'm trying to decide between these two and would like to spend around 35K or under. I live in PA and we do get some snow, so I was considering getting the awd g37 and was hesitant to get the 370z. But, it doesnt really snow that much here and I figured I would probably not get another 2 seater until way later in life, after retirement possibly. I have gone through the specs and options many times. I do like the idea of the luxury part of the g37 but I also like the awesome performance in the 370z. What do you guys think?

To be upfront, I have no experience with EFL so please take that into consideration. I believe that the best way to present new vocabulary will probably depend on whether the reading is being done in cl or independently, and on the fluency level of the students. In cl, I would guide the students, stopping at words that might present a problem, and have them try to figure out the meaning based on the context in which it is used. If reading is done independently you could give them a list of vocabulary and definitions ahead of time. A dictionary could be used to see if they can use previously learned words to figure out the definitions of the new ones. Also, dissecting a word can sometimes give clues to the meaning. For example, if they know that therm- means heat, they will be able to figure out what thermal blanket or thermometer means more easily. I hope that someone with actual EFL experience can weigh in to give you some more ideas. Good luck!

How to Protect Carpet from Furniture Dents and Wood Stains?

We're moving into a house with very light colored carpet. While preparing to move our furniture, we noticed two solid wood bookcases had left deep dents in our current carpet. Also, the wood stain bled into the carpet. The carpet cleaners said that it could probably not be removed, thereby requiring new carpet. We're getting the silicone sliders to put under a lot of our furniture, but is there a way to protect a larger area, like under large bookcases or entertainment centers? We already plan on scotch guarding, so not really looking for that tip. I've heard wax paper? Anyone tried this? Any other ideas?

My 2 month old randomly started crying hysterically and...?

I tried EVERYTHING I tried feeding her, burping her, changing her, giving her pacifier to her, rocking her, swaddling her, and NOTHING worked. I felt so lost and had no idea what to do. When her dad rocked her, she fell asleep. Has this happened to anyone before? I mean when she cried like this, I never heard her cry like this before. It scared me half to death. If you have overcrowding is it always neccessary to have teeth removed when having braces??

I went to to the orthodontist the other day for a consultation about having braces (I am an adult by the way). The orthodontist said I am suitable for treatment. The reason I am having orthodontic treatment is because I have overcrowding of the 4 front upper teeth. My two front teeth are situated in front of my other teeth (they do not protrude however). The rest of my teeth however are not overcrowded, and are in a straight line. However my orthodontist said I don't need to have any teeth removed because there is enough room for the teeth to be corrected into their correct position. But I don't see how the front 4 teeth can be moved without my other teeth being moved back slightly. Because my wisdom teeth have come through, there is no more room in my mouth for the teeth to move back without some being removed. Is it possible to have teeth moved without removal of other teeth?

How to relieve back pain..?

I have a track meet tomorrow but my lower left back is kind of hurting. I mean, it's not hurting to the point where I should sit out of the meet tomorrow, but I was just wondering if anyone knows how to relieve it..? I woke up to inch water across entire floor in every room due to heavy rain overnight which spills out of roof spouting right by front door. I phoned landlord and with help of neighbour moved everything out of the house to neighbours garage. Landlord says today that sorry but we have to find other arrangements because it will take 2 months to repair (dry carpet?). He said he will give reference and bond back. Help! artists opinion needed!!!?

I would probably go with a dark solid color or a simple gradation because there is already so much busy action and details within the skull, and you want that to stand out most. You don't want the background to be too distracting, otherwise it takes away from the subject. As others have suggested, I would probably outline the word "Beauty" in white or a shiny/sparkly color and make the letters a little thicker so that it pops against the background. Or perhaps you can do a solid color with some splotches of red "blood" or splatter paint. As for medium, I would probably use something bold like a marker, because colored pencils will look weak and might ruin it. It would get all mixed up with the textures and mark making of the skull and rose, so I would avoid colored pencils if possible. Also, if you haven't glued down the skull yet (it seems like it's floating off the paper a bit, so I'm guessing it's not?) you can paste it onto construction paper. That way, you won't have to worry about a background and it would allow the skull to stand out and be eye-catching. Then you can cut out the rose and words (leave a white outline) and glue it onto the page as well. Just some suggestions for you to consider. I hope that all made sense.
