Why are people so against christinity if it gives people comfort and they are taught?

morales, many people dont come from homes where they are taught morales. I didnt, it makes people feel wanted and loved by God so what is so bad about that. I know their are some chrisitans who just use the name and are bad but not everyone is like that, many have good hearts
