If you've been together for 8 months, I'd hope that you're pretty comfortable around each other. Just tell him you were in a giggly mood, or something. I don't think it's a big deal. Imagine you were your boyfriend and he were you. Would you think he was weird? Probably not. I doubt you'd think much of it. So he probably doesn't think much of it.
