2 guys are spreading a mean rumor about me! What should i do?

ok well in 5th grade this guy used to like me and i didn't like him back at all. So, the next semester he moved to another school thank god. But now i am in 7th grade and he is back. Now he and his friend that i used to like, Sammy SO-SO ( He doesnt know that i did) are telling my bestfriend that in fifth grade everyone behind my back thought i was emo!!! Which offends me because i am totally not emo and i really do care about my reputation. I have never done a thing to them but still they are annoying mee! the guy who liked me has nvr even talked but still!!!! What should i do???? Confront them?????
