Radio turns on then off and wont resond. any help?

replacing factory stereo in 02 chevy venture. used scoche interface w chimes for GM 2000 & up. I wired into harness and thenI connect to the new head unit, it turns on for one second and then shuts off and wont respond. any clue, any one?
