Cervical mucus after period?

We've been trying to concieve since january (not long at all). I've been reading that while your ovulating or right before you have a creamy-white cervical mucus. My fiance has been gone for two weeks on a job he left the day after I started my period and after my period was over (a few days) mucus was very very creamy and white when i'd wipe and even using my vibrator. what does this mean?
