Quick guitar question about strats and lps.?

I know some great musicians have played on strats, and I could never hold a candle to them. But I feel personally feel like strats are more for beginners generally speaking, and a les paul is more sophisticated. I mean I love playing strats at times, but man the natural sustain you get from les paul guitars is just beautiful. I like to liken a strat to a thin, pretty lady and a LP to a healthy, voluptuous, all the curves in the right places kinda woman. Agree/Disagree?
