Do you think voters are smarter this time around ?

I hope people are able to make decisions for themselves this time around as I don't like the way our country is going. I feel the McCain campaign is desperate, so they are "misstating" many facts. However, I personally know a lot of friends and relatives, who really are not stupid people, who have planned to vote for McCain; I can't follow their reasoning and I can't understand their inflexibility - they're not even willing to research some of the statements that are made.
