Have you read MAD COWBOY by Howard Lyman?

Yes, among others. If you plan on getting several copies then that seems to be the way to go (most of the other veg*n related books cost about $15). It's probably one of the better veg*n books I've read. If you're unsure just order one copy, read it, and if you like it order more (you will lose about $5 in shipping that way though).
