I've seen many questions about why God doesn't stop famine, accidents, natural disasters, crime, etc.?

And the askers use that as proof that God doesn't exist. But if everything in the world went just the way you wanted, wouldn't you just attribute it to the goodness of mankind and mother earth, or some other source than God?
